Principle of e-jen vacuum container

There are four factors to help preserve food for
an extended period of time and keep it from perishing:
1) temperature 2) moisture 3) nutritive elements and 4) air.
With absence of one or more of these factors,
food perishes at a faster rate.

CANNED
FOOD

The greatest storage method of human-developed
containers is a can. Canned foods can be used to store food
for an extended period of time because they are in a vacuum
and airtight state, however once opened,
it cannot be sealed back to its original state
and food must be consumed immediately.

HEAD
SPACE

Most containers have a layer of air called “Head Space”
between the lids and the food content in the containers.
This layer of air may contain harmful microbes and promote
creation of mold, or deterioration of the original taste of food.

The E-Jen vacuum and airtight storage container has an adjustable
vacuum sealing plate in the body of the container.
If the plate is moved downward closer to the food in the container,
the air flow from the head space is minimized, creating a similar
vacuum state that cans provide

STRUCTURE

E-Jen has a silicon packing that is inserted along the edge of
the vacuum plate. The pressing mechanism of the vacuum
plate improves the insulation of the silicon packing
and extends the shelf life of perishable foods.
